The center beam or stone of Georgia guide stones is the stand for a flat square stone making the center structure a T or a T shape which the letter T numerical equivalence is the number 20. There are four other standing stones or structures making it the number 24. The five structures or erect stones rest upon each a flat foundation stone. The T structure in middle equaling number 20 adding the four surrounding structures and their base brings us to the number 20 so we see two numbers which describes the structure. number 24 and number 28 which in Holy Quran reveal two chapters 24 the light, and 28 the narrative. For in masonic terms LIGHT describes knowledge and information, and narrative is indicative of a book .and if we look with an open mind the structure reminds us of an Open Book that tells a story…now if we add the four foundation slabs we come to the number 32 which is a degree in masonry  and the cross slab of the T we get 33.this symbol is from a universal inspiration arriving in the year 1980 with its base in the year 1981 the year Bob Marley the prophet died, and the year Stevie wonder held the rally for peace press conference and march on Washington mall to cause the Martin Luther king birthday to be a national holiday. A set of 10 guidelines is inscribed on the structure in eight modern languages, and a shorter message is inscribed at the top of the structure in four ancient language scripts: Babylonian, Classical Greek, Sanskrit, and Egyptian hieroglyphs.

The monument stands at the highest point in Elbert County, about 90 miles (140 km) east of Atlanta, 45 miles (72 km) from Athens, and 9 miles (14 km) north of the center of Elberton. The stones are visible from Georgia Highway 77 (Hartwell Highway) and are reached by turning east on Guidestones Road.

A recent addition to the monument- a block on which is inscribed 2014 – was placed inside an indent between the English and the Spanish slab. While apparently trivial, this block nevertheless proves that the Guidestones is still updated by its sponsors and that its message is, more than ever, relevant in 2014. 2/26/2017 the block was missing…
